Core bit tubes · core bit bodies
Core bit tubes for diamond core bits. Tolerances you can see in the bit's run-out.
Steel bodies for manufacturing and retipping core drill bits – in standard diameters or to size: length, wall thickness and end finish for your thread. For retippers, manufacturers and service workshops across Europe.

Typical core bit tube dimensions
Wall thickness grows with diameter – so the body carries the drill's torque and the segment keeps its side clearance.
| Ø D range [mm] | Wall s [mm] | Lengths L [mm] | End finish | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8–62 | 1.0–1.5 | 300 · 400 | 1/2" BSP | anchors, cable penetrations |
| 63–162 | 1.5–2.0 | 400 · 450 · 500 | 1 1/4" UNC, M16 | service penetrations |
| 163–300 | 2.0–2.5 | 450 · 500 · 600 | 1 1/4" UNC | ventilation, drainage |
| 301–500 | 2.5–3.5 | 450 · 500 · 600 | 1 1/4" UNC | process openings |
Typical, indicative values. Straightness and run-out tolerances are given in the batch specification values stated in the quotation.

What ruins a core bit before it starts drilling
Bit run-out
Cause: a bent tube or an end finish that is not concentric.
Fix: straightness and concentricity checked on every batch.
Cracking during brazing
Cause: a wall too thin for the diameter, inconsistent material.
Fix: wall matched to the diameter, steel from a single heat.
Different batches, different sizes
Cause: a supplier without dimensional control.
Fix: every batch measured to a repeatable specification.
Non-standard length
Cause: thick walls, special drilling rigs.
Fix: tubes to size with an end finish for your thread.

What wall thickness does a core bit tube have?
It depends on the diameter – from about 1 mm on small core bits to 3 mm and more on large ones. The wall must carry the torque and the segment needs side clearance. See the dimensions table.
Do you make tubes to size?
Yes – diameter, length, wall and end finish for your drill's thread, to your specification.
Can I order tubes under my own brand?
Yes, as private label. Minimum batch: from 100 pcs of one size
Do you also supply core bit segments?
Yes – diamond segments with the same formulation in every batch.
