Advantages

What an installer gains

01

No returns because of the thread

The configurator matches the mounting to the machine and warns you about unusual choices. Thread chart and adapters on one page.

02

The right diameter straight away

Ready matches: Ø 60 box → 68 core bit, DN 110 → 122–132, Ø 160 duct → 182. No redrilling.

Questions

Core bits for installers – questions

Thread and diameter charts
Which core bit for electrical boxes?

Ø 68 mm for a Ø 60 box, Ø 82 for a Ø 80 box – dry, M16 with an SDS-plus adapter and a centre drill.

Which core bit for a DN 110 drain pipe?

Usually Ø 122–132 mm – with clearance for sealing the penetration. See the diameter chart.

My drill has a 1/2" thread – what about larger diameters?

Larger diameters use 1 1/4" UNC. We will supply an adapter or a core bit with the right shank.

Do you retip core bits?

Yes, if the tube is straight and free of cracks. Request retipping.
