    Diamond segments – frequently asked questions

    For retippers and manufacturers
    What segment sizes do you produce?

    Standard segments for blades (e.g. 40 × 3.2–4.5 × 10 mm), core bits (e.g. 24 × 3.5 × 10 mm) and grinding tools. Other sizes to specification – configure a segment.

    What is the difference between a roof-top and a straight segment?

    A roof-top segment has a pointed working edge – it enters the material faster and makes starting the cut easier. A grooved (turbo) segment clears debris better and runs cooler when cutting dry. All shapes compared: straight, turbo or roof-top segment.

    Can I get samples?

    Yes – we send samples before you order a series, for testing on your own tools. Up to 10 sample pieces free of charge for businesses, once the specification is agreed

    Do you produce under the customer's brand?

    Yes, as private label. Minimum batch: from 100 pcs of one size

    How do you select the segment bond?

    For the material the customer's tools cut: hard material – soft bond, abrasive material – hard bond. Try the interactive bond selector.
